DBPM Degree College for Women, Secunderabad ·
AI for Sales & Marketing · DBPM College · 10 Sep 2026 — Prompts & Exercises
Every prompt from today, on one page. Open free Claude (claude.ai in your browser — no app, no card), tap Copy, paste, fill the [brackets] in your own words. One send per exercise. ChatGPT or Gemini also work for the exercises; the build needs Claude.
AI won't give you a job.
It lets you show what you can do.
1Find your talent from evidence
Not a quiz. The prompt knows nothing about you except three facts about what you actually did — so no two answers in the room match.
On paper first (1 min). Write three lines:
- The last thing a friend or family member asked me to help with.
- What I did last Sunday when nobody told me to.
- The college task that felt easy for me but hard for classmates.
On your phone (4 min). Copy, paste your three lines into the blank, send once.
I am a [course, year] student. Three true facts about me: ___. Using only these facts, name my strongest talent in two words, quote the evidence, and write one sentence for "tell me about yourself". No praise. If the evidence is weak, say so.
Got "the evidence is weak"? Honest answer. Send one more line:
Give me one task for this week that would create evidence.
Keep the "tell me about yourself" sentence — Exercise 3 uses it. Tonight: send the screenshot to one person and ask "does this sound like me?"
▶Marketing, live — the video and the Zepto notification
"Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?" — one question, two years, a whole country waited. That's a hook. The job is the line that makes someone stop, and the number that says whether it worked.
Video A · 1:55 · Speed is the job. Chandan Mendiratta, Zepto's Chief Business Officer, at Goafest 2026 (exchange4media). youtube.com/watch?v=gEZdPD7bs1IIf it won't play: (1) Zepto makes its own ads — about 30 films in three and a half months. (2) The job: react to what India is talking about today. (3) Speed is the point. AI is how a fresher gets fast.
On stage: a real Zepto notification pasted into free AI — "what job is it doing, who is it for, what number does the team watch? Three versions for college girls in Secunderabad, and how would the team test which wins?" One version invents a discount. That gets you fired. AI drafts. You decide. The number judges.
2Your months, planned
First years: N = 33. Second years: N = 21. One prompt, one table, Week 1 specific. Free tools, five hours a week.
I am a [course, year] student at DBPM, Secunderabad, [N] months from graduating. My talent: "___". Make my plan: one goal per term, one thing per term a recruiter could open, and a Week 1 action under 2 hours. Table, under 150 words.
Your Week 1 action and Sunday's Google Doc (Exercise 4) are the same thing. Screenshot the table; lock screen till Sunday.
▶Sales, live — AI plays the customer
Good salespeople don't pitch. They ask, then answer. Run this silently on your own phone with your own product — Amma's tiffin, the boutique, Abbu's shop's monthly offers, a tuition. One no, one reply, one score.
You are the warden of a girls' PG hostel in Secunderabad with 60 residents. I am selling you [my product], [price]. Say no three times like a real warden would (price, hygiene, reliability). After each of my replies, score it 1–10 in one line. Do not help me. Start with your first no.
Reply with a pitch and watch it score 4. Reply with a question back — "what went wrong with your last supplier?" — and watch it score 8. Screenshot the score.
3Get marked, not answered
Video B · 1:58 · Not "answer me". "Interview me." Thinking Bridge (CA Archit Agarwal). youtube.com/watch?v=BO270Nd4AFkIf it won't play: (1) Tell AI who it is: "you are the interviewer at ___." (2) Make it ask and score, not answer. (3) Redo it yourself. That's the loop.
You are an interviewer at Zepto or Bajaj Finance hiring freshers in Hyderabad for a marketing or sales role. Here is my answer to "tell me about yourself": ___. Score it 1–10. Name the one biggest weakness and one fix. Do not rewrite it for me.
Read the score. Rewrite the sentence yourself, on paper. One send only. Usual weakness: no evidence, no number. Add today's page: "I built a page for my mother's tiffin service and got the first order from it."
⚡Build a page a stranger can open
For a real business you know. With an "Order on WhatsApp" button. No code. Free Claude — the page appears below the chat. If yours shows only code, pair with a neighbour whose tool shows the page.
Build a one-page, phone-friendly website for [my business] in Secunderabad: name, three items with prices, a line about timings or delivery, and a big "Order on WhatsApp" button that opens a chat with [number] and a pre-filled message "I'd like to order". One file, nothing to install.
Hunt (3 min). Find what breaks it. Tap everything. Type what a real customer would type. No list — you're hunting.
It breaks when [what broke]. Fix only that. Tell me in one line what you changed. Then list two more things I should test before sharing.
Share. Tap Share / Publish. Copy the link. WhatsApp it to yourself. That link is Exercise 4's first line — and the first order.
4Start the thing a stranger can open
Pick a lane. First years: start with Lane 1.
I'm a [course, year] student. Help me start a one-page study of [brand]'s marketing. Give me: (1) one problem a fresher could study from its Play Store reviews or its ads, (2) three questions to answer with real numbers, (3) a title, (4) two questions a recruiter would ask me. Under 150 words.
I built a one-page site today for [the business] with a WhatsApp order button. Write the one-page note a recruiter reads in 60 seconds: who it's for, what it does, what a customer did that broke it and how I fixed it, what I'd add next. Under 120 words. Then list 3 things to test before sharing.
This is the start. Paste the output into a Google Doc on your phone; sharing set to anyone with the link; your page link at the top. Finish by Sunday night.
→By Monday 6 PM
- Google Doc finished — this is your Week 1 action. Sharing: anyone with the link. Page link at the top.
- Doc link + page link to the placement office WhatsApp (number given in the session). Subject: Proof — your name — the business. No number? Post in the college WhatsApp group, tagged "Proof".
- This Doc is your internship application's attachment next summer.
- Same two links to the same place — you don't have a CV yet; this link is the first line of the one you'll write.
- Tonight: send the page to the person whose business it is. Ask "would you share this with a customer?" Their answer is your first customer review.
- Make a Google Drive folder called Proof. Today's four screenshots go in it. Every week, add one thing.
plus incentives is where sales and marketing freshers start — Zepto, Bajaj, insurance, EdTech, D2C brands. Mass IT drives: ₹2.5–3.5. ₹4–6 at a product brand or a good agency, for someone who can show a link. What moves you up: ask · draft · measure · show. You did all four today.
Next Sundays (pick one each week): a WhatsApp broadcast message for the business · a one-page study of a second brand · a ₹0 Canva poster for your page. Done it all? Run your page as a ₹300 Meta ad to a 2-km radius for three days and write down the number — that write-up is a Lane 3 page.
